Abstract for the Leesburg training:

The Wisdom Method 305 hour Yoga Teacher Training & Apprenticeship Program is a Vinyasa-based training program focusing on the importance of self-study, dedicated & applied practice, mindfulness based movement modalities, and developing kinesthetic intelligence. Implicit in the training is instruction in the major philosophical & physical Hatha Yoga systems, with the most emphasis given to the Krishnamacharya lineage (Ashtanga Vinyasa-Viniyoga-Iyengar-Classical Yoga & Ayurveda). Breathing practices, anatomy, meditation techniques, and teaching methodology are included in the program while Ayurvedic nutrition & wellness training and an applied practicum & apprenticeship make this program unique.

The program includes 7 20-hour weekend intensives (once monthly), twice monthly Thursday evening sessions (2nd & 3rd Thursday of each month, 5-9 p), plus a 20-hour apprenticeship with Kellie Adkins. The Thursday night focused study is mandatory. If you are unable to attend the Thursday night session, you will need to schedule a make-up session with Kellie or attend the corresponding weekends in Tallhassee.

Internship hours will be scheduled once the training begins.
