Kellie Adkins, MS, ERYT, RPYT, RCYT
Studio Director
Kellie Adkins is an experienced yoga teacher and yoga teacher trainer (directore & primary instructor of the Wisdom Method School of Yoga). Kellie is registered with the National Yoga Allianceas an Experienced registered Yoga teacher at the 500-hour level, a registered Prenatal Yoga teacher, and a registered Children's Yoga teacher. Kellie is also a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists and is a Manduka Ambassador. Kellie offers yoga classes, meditation classes, yogic nutrition, ayurvedic cooking classes, yoga workshops, and teacher training to the yoga community in and around her Leesburg-based studio, Jeweled Lotus Yoga.
Kellie is an avid yoga practictioner with over 13 years experience in the yogic disciplines. Kellie's academic and formal trainings have spanned yogic philosophy, gender studies, nutrition and food science, Ayurveda, Ashtanga yoga, Anusara yoga, Iyengar yoga, and children's, prenatal, and seniors' yoga. Kellie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religions & Gender Studies from New College of Florida, a Master of Science in Nutrition & Food Sciences from Florida State University, & holds several yoga certifications. Kellie's specialties include: Asthanga yoga, Ayurveda, Prenatal Yoga, Children's Yoga, Yin/Restorative Yoga, Hot Yoga, Yoga Alignment, Meditation, & Anatomy of yoga asana. In addition to her formal yoga trainings, Kellie has also completed specialty trainings & intensives in Power Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Anusara Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Buddhist meditation, & Ayurveda.
Kellie is a yoga therapist and an experienced registered yoga teacher at the 500 hour level with over 3,000 hours teaching experience and a dedicated daily practice.
